Use the good camera you already own. AnyCam streams your phone's camera to your Linux desktop over your local Wi-Fi and publishes it as a real webcam — so your phone shows up as a camera in Firefox, Discord/Vesktop, OBS, and more.

Why AnyCam

• No kernel module, no v4l2loopback, no MOK, no reboot — 100% userspace via PipeWire, so Secure Boot stays on.

• Actually works in browsers and Discord. Most Linux virtual-camera tricks deliver zero frames to Firefox/Electron apps; AnyCam ships a proper camera source they can consume. Verified in Firefox and Vesktop.

How it works

1. Launch AnyCam on your PC.

2. On your phone (same Wi-Fi), open the address shown / scan its QR code.

3. Tap Start Camera — your phone is now a webcam on your computer.

• A Linux desktop with PipeWire (default on most modern distros).

• A phone (or any device) with a camera and a browser, on the same Wi-Fi.
